Lotberg Terms of Use

Lotberg is a marketplace operated by Lintberg B.V. that directly connects senior professionals with organisations that have a specific assignment (interim, project-based, or fractional), supported by AI-based matching. Lotberg is not a separate legal entity but a brand of Lintberg B.V.; agreements entered into via Lotberg are concluded with Lintberg B.V.

Lotberg is not a party to, and does not act as an intermediary, staffing agency, or employer within, the assignment agreed between a professional and a client or recruiter. The content, rate, duration, and performance of an assignment are agreed directly between those parties, outside of Lotberg. The maximum rate applied on Lotberg (€150/hour) is a guideline; Lotberg does not guarantee that this rate will be observed.

The information and material, as well as the terms, conditions, and descriptions on these pages, may be changed by posting new terms of use. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

Unauthorised use of Lotberg and Lintberg B.V.'s systems is strictly prohibited, including: illegally gaining access to systems; misuse of passwords; misuse of information posted on Lotberg; and providing inaccurate information to mislead the matching process or assessment. The decision on your ability to use specific products and services rests with Lintberg B.V.

Every Lintberg member — whether on a Basic or Premium membership — can activate a Lotberg premium account via opt-in, using the same login credentials as for Lintberg. For Lintberg Premium members, this access is free of charge. Lintberg Basic members pay the applicable Lotberg subscription fee for this, as do users without a Lintberg account, who can create a standalone Lotberg account; this does not grant access to, or any entitlement to, a Lintberg Premium membership. If a linked Lintberg Premium membership ends, free access to Lotberg will in principle also end; a paid subscription can then be requested.

Lotberg uses AI to analyse CVs and assignments and to generate matches between professionals and employers. AI outputs are a tool: users can review and adjust the extracted data, and no decision is made that is based solely on automated processing. Lotberg does not guarantee that AI-generated data or matches are accurate, complete, or suitable. For the processing of personal data in connection with the use of AI, please see Lintberg B.V.'s privacy policy, which also applies to the use of Lotberg.

Lotberg may contain links to third-party websites. Lintberg B.V. is not responsible for information, material, products, or services on third-party sites, and the placement of a link does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation thereof.

The information and materials on Lotberg, including AI-generated content and match results, are provided "as is". Lintberg B.V. does not warrant the accuracy, correctness, or completeness of this information and expressly disclaims responsibility for any errors or omissions.

Lintberg B.V. is not liable for any damage in connection with Lotberg, information received via Lotberg, or the use or inability to use it, including damage arising from reliance on AI-generated data or match results, or from the formation, performance, or fulfilment of an assignment between a professional and a client/recruiter.

A paid Lotberg subscription is automatically renewed and can be cancelled at any time via the account settings or by e-mail; access remains active until the end of the paid period. If cancelled within three days of the start of a paid subscription, the amount paid (less €5.00 in administration costs) will be refunded, unless the subscription began with a free trial period.

There are no platform fees for clients for use of Lotberg's core functionality. Separate services explicitly offered as such (such as search and selection support) may be offered for a separately communicated fee.

Information you provide via Lotberg (such as your CV, profile, and assignment data) remains your property. You grant Lintberg B.V. the right to use, process, and display this information to the extent necessary for the operation of Lotberg, including AI matching, and for anonymised use to improve our services. Lintberg B.V. is not bound by any obligation of confidentiality with respect to information provided, except as agreed in the direct relationship with the client or as required by law or the privacy policy.

Lotberg is not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person or entity in any jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation.

Only one individual may use an account at any given time, unless otherwise agreed (e.g. for recruiter accounts, which must state the actual client). Lintberg B.V. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to immediately revoke an account and/or impose a penalty of €3,000 per day for scraping, copying copyright-protected texts or materials, or otherwise misusing the content of Lotberg. The use of automated programs on Lotberg, including scripts to respond to assignments or communicate with professionals or clients, is not permitted.

You must use a valid e-mail address to use Lotberg. Invalid e-mail addresses will be refused and removed from our systems.

Certain parts or services of Lotberg may be subject to separate, additional terms. In the event of a conflict, those additional terms apply to those parts or services.

The use of Lotberg is governed by Dutch law.
