Lotberg Privacy Statement

Lintberg B.V. ("Lintberg", "we", "us", "our") places great importance on protecting your privacy. This privacy statement explains how we collect, use, share, and secure your personal data when you use Lotberg: the marketplace operated by Lintberg B.V. that directly connects senior professionals with organisations that have a specific assignment, supported by AI-based matching ("Lotberg", the "Services").

This statement supplements Lintberg B.V.'s privacy statement and specifically describes the processing activities unique to Lotberg. To the extent Lotberg is used via a linked Lintberg account (Basic or Premium, see Article 3), both statements apply together. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@lintberg.com.

When you register as a professional, we may process, among other things: your name, e-mail address, phone number, photo, location, CV, work experience, and references, as well as the profile characteristics specific to Lotberg matching:

• Situational DNA: the type of situations in which you have experience (e.g. growth & scaling, transformation, turnaround & crisis)
• Areas of expertise, domain, sector, and seniority anchor (e.g. C-suite, senior management, specialist, entrepreneur)
• Proven scale: an indication of largest team size, budget, and revenue responsibility
• Working style, motivation, and availability profile (days per week, type of assignment, location preference, duration)
• Rate indication (visible in the matching process, not publicly visible)

When you register as a Client or recruiter, we process personal data (name, e-mail), company data (including your Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number, for account validation purposes), and the assignment data you provide, such as an uploaded assignment document (PDF, DOCX, TXT) or free text. Recruiters must state the actual client in doing so.

If you make a payment for our Services, your payment details are processed via our external payment processor (Buckaroo). We also automatically collect technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and usage behaviour) in the manner described in Lintberg B.V.'s privacy statement.

If you activate Lotberg via a Lintberg membership (opt-in using the same login credentials), you thereby consent to relevant profile data from your Lintberg account being used to (partially) pre-fill your Lotberg profile. You can withdraw this link at any time via your account settings; this may affect your access to Lotberg (see the terms of use).

We use your data to provide the Services, including generating AI matches between professionals and assignments, facilitating direct contact between a professional and a Client/recruiter, account management and validation (including KVK checks), processing payments and subscriptions, customer service, and complying with legal obligations. For other, general processing purposes (such as analytics, personalisation, and marketing), please refer to Lintberg B.V.'s privacy statement, which applies equally to Lotberg.

We do not sell or rent your personal data for commercial purposes. Your professional profile is shown to Clients and recruiters who have been approved by us for this purpose, only to the extent relevant to a match or search assignment. Your contact details are only shared once you and the Client/recruiter decide to make direct contact following a match.

What the Client/recruiter subsequently does with your data falls outside this statement: that relationship runs directly between you and the Client/recruiter, outside of Lotberg. We also share data with service providers who help us provide the Services, including our payment processor (Buckaroo), hosting providers, and the technology partner(s) that provide Lotberg's AI functionality, as well as with legal authorities where required.

Lotberg uses AI, including language models, to analyse CVs and assignment documents and extract profile data, and to generate a ranked match list based on hard filters and weighted criteria. This processing is limited to this specific purpose; we do not use AI for automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects without human review — you and the Client/recruiter review and validate AI-generated data before it is used in matching or made visible to the other party.

We work exclusively with AI partners that are contractually obligated to protect personal data in accordance with European privacy law (including through standard contractual clauses). Anonymised or aggregated data may be used to train and improve the matching and parsing functionality. You retain all your rights under the GDPR, as described in Article 8.

The same policy as described in Lintberg B.V.'s privacy statement applies to cookies and similar technologies on Lotberg. You can manage or disable cookies via your browser settings.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this statement. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it for longer.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, object to, and restrict the processing of your data, and to data portability, as well as the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. You can exercise these rights via info@lintberg.com; we aim to respond within 30 days.

We may update this statement from time to time. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you via Lotberg or by e-mail.
